Custom designed steel motorsailor based on a Jay Benford designed hull
Built by Paul Manning at Homer, Alaska, and launched in 2001
This junk-rigged motorsailor was designed & built specifically for cruising and liveaboard in Alaska & the Pacific Northwest. Beautiful custom cabin accomodates a couple in fine style.
15,000 lbs displacement w/ 2300 lbs epoxy-encapsulated lead in keel
Interior is finished w/ pine tongue & groove panelling, red oak & pine cabinets and trim
STEERING
Whitlock Mamba steering is a high efficiency reduction gearbox/torque tube system is one turn lock to lock
